Irix 21mm f/1.4 Dragonfly Wide-Angle Full-Frame Lens
The Irix 21mm f/1.4 Dragonfly opens a 89.7 degree diagonal field of view at f/1.4, which is the combination astro and nightscape photographers look for: enough sky in frame and enough light per exposure to keep star trailing down. Fifteen elements in eleven groups keep distortion and coma in check, and the 11-blade rounded iris renders point sources cleanly when stopped down.
The Dragonfly barrel uses reinforced metal construction with a scratch-resistant finish, an anti-slip focus ring, and engraved markings filled with UV reactive paint that read under a headlamp. Sealing is applied in four key areas. Focus is manual through a 140 degree throw with a lock, minimum focus is 0.30 m, and filtration is handled with the Irix Edge adapter for the 21mm rather than a direct front thread.
