Irix 45mm f/1.4 Dragonfly Full-Frame Lens
The Irix 45mm f/1.4 Dragonfly sits between the usual 35 and 50, giving 51.4 degrees diagonally on full frame. Eleven elements in nine groups, one of them aspherical, hold distortion to about 0.5 percent, and the nine-blade rounded iris keeps background highlights smooth at wide apertures. It focuses to 0.4 m with a 140 degree throw and a focus lock.
An electronic module drives the iris from the camera, so PASM modes, focus confirmation and EXIF aperture recording all work. The barrel takes 77 mm screw-in filters and the Irix Edge IFH-100 square holder. The Dragonfly finish uses reinforced metal construction with a scratch-resistant surface and engraved UV reactive markings, sealed in four key areas, and ships with a rigid case.
