Irix Cine 21mm T1.5 Full-Frame Cinema Lens

The Irix Cine 21mm T1.5 is the wide end of the fast Irix Cine primes: 79.4 degrees horizontally on full frame, opening to T1.5 so a wide shot can still separate a subject from its background. An 11-blade rounded iris keeps out-of-focus highlights circular as the lens is stopped down. Minimum focus is 0.30 m, close enough for a wide insert without a diopter.

Like the rest of the line it uses internal focusing, a 180 degree focus throw, 0.8 mod gears on focus and iris, a 95 mm front diameter and a removable 1/4 in support foot, so mounts can be swapped mid-shoot without re-rigging. The front element sits proud of the barrel, so there is no screw-in filter thread and filtration is handled with an adapter or matte box. Four rubber o-rings seal the barrel, three on PL.
