Gitzo Traveler Series 2 Carbon Fiber Tripod

Series 2 is the Traveler for photographers who were not willing to give up load capacity to get the folding trick. Tubes run 18.2 to 29 mm Carbon eXact, the rated safety payload is 12 kg, and the legs still swing 180 degrees back around the head so the whole thing packs to 44.5 cm with a ball head attached.

At 1.335 kg it is heavier than the Series 0 and 1 Travelers and correspondingly steadier under a full-frame body with a fast zoom. Maximum height is 154.5 cm, and the removable rapid centre column drops the camera to 22 cm. G-lock twist collars, three leg angle positions, and a top casting with both 1/4 inch and 3/8 inch screws.
