The Fostex PM0.4c is a compact two-way active near-field monitor built for the desktop, sold here as a matched black pair. Each cabinet carries a 100mm (4-inch) glass-fiber woofer and a 19mm (3/4-inch) soft-dome tweeter in a small wood enclosure with a rear bass-reflex port, tuned for a clear, natural balance at close range where a studio speaker sits an arm's length away.

The amplifier lives in the right-hand cabinet and drives both speakers at 30W per channel, taking a stereo signal on RCA inputs from an interface, mixer, or a controller like the PC-100USB-HR2. An auto standby mode powers the pair down when the signal stops, and it can be switched off if you would rather leave them awake.
