Fostex 6301NB Single-Unit Powered Reference Monitor

The Fostex 6301NB is a compact powered reference monitor built around a single 10cm (4-inch) full-range driver and a 20W Class-D amplifier in one small cabinet. It is the confidence monitor you find on broadcast desks, edit bays, and PA racks where one honest near-field speaker has to check a feed at arm's length. The flat front panel keeps the power and level controls out of the way so a knob is not knocked mid-session.

This NB version takes an unbalanced signal on a single 1/4-inch (TS) phone jack, the simplest wiring in the 6301N family and a natural match for a console insert or a nearby line output. It runs on universal AC and drops into an auto standby mode to save power between cues. Each 6301NB ships as a single unit rather than a stereo pair.
