Fostex RM-3 1U Rackmount Stereo Monitor

The Fostex RM-3 packs a complete stereo monitoring system into a single rack space for machine rooms, OB vans, and edit suites where a full-size speaker pair will not fit. Two 110 x 40mm magnetically shielded elliptical full-range drivers sit behind the front panel, each fed by a 10W Class-D amplifier, so a mix or a return feed can be checked without leaving the rack.

Inputs cover both worlds: analog on XLR and 1/4-inch TS phone, plus an AES/EBU digital input on XLR that locks to sampling rates from 44.1kHz to 96kHz. A 26-dot LED meter with four brightness steps reads the levels, a front headphone jack allows private listening, and a mute switch offers a full cut or a 20dB dim.
