ESE ES-71 Real Time SMPTE/EBU/ESE to USB Converter

The ES-71 reads SMPTE/EBU LTC or ESE Time Code and outputs it to a computer over USB, drawing its power entirely from the USB connection, for applications that need a continuous, real-time sync source rather than a one-shot code capture. Four DIP-switch or software-selectable modes cover ESE Time Code and LTC Real Time in three date formats: Leitch, SMPTE 309M and ESE.

Switchable error detection and correction keeps the output clean off imperfect code, and the included time-sync software plus a Linux real-time mode let the same small dongle serve a Windows edit bay or a Linux automation server.
