ESE ES-306U Video Up/Down Timer Inserter

The ES-306U superimposes a presettable up/down timer onto a looped-through NTSC or PAL video signal, counting a range of up to 100 hours on up to seven digits (hours, minutes, seconds, tenths) from its own quartz-crystal timebase. That puts a running clock or countdown directly in the picture without a separate character generator.

On-screen menus set the size, position and brightness of the timer characters, with black-background-on/off and transparent or solid display modes for different backgrounds. Front-panel controls handle day-to-day operation, an optional RS-232 interface with Windows software adds remote control, and battery backup holds the size and position settings through a power cycle.
