ESE ES208 Video Distribution Amplifier
The ES-208 takes a single video feed and fans it out to twelve isolated copies, the everyday job of getting one source to a wall of monitors, routers, and record decks without loading down the signal. A loop-thru input and twelve 75-ohm outputs all land on BNC connectors, and each output is isolated so a fault or a pulled cable on one leg leaves the other eleven untouched. Flat response from 10 Hz to 10 MHz keeps composite and sync signals clean across the run.
Two screwdriver-adjustable trimmers on the front of the case handle setup: a gain control spanning -6 to +3.5 dB sets overall level, and an equalization control can compensate for up to 1000 feet of cable so the last monitor looks like the first. The whole amplifier lives in a small die-cast box that tucks in wherever it is needed, powered from a UL/CSA wall supply at 117 VAC, 50/60 Hz.
