ESE ES227 S-Video Distribution Amplifier
The ES-227 distributes a single S-Video (Y/C component) source to four isolated outputs, keeping the luminance and chrominance channels separate the way S-VHS demands. A loop-thru input and four outputs all use 4-pin S-Video connectors on 75-ohm lines, and each output is isolated so unused legs need not even be terminated. That makes it a tidy way to feed several S-Video monitors or record decks from one deck or camera.
Screwdriver-adjustable gain and high-frequency equalization controls let you tune the signal for the cable run, holding picture quality out to the far end. The amplifier is built into a rugged die-cast alloy case and runs on 110 to 120 VAC as standard, with a 220 to 240 VAC option available.
