DVDO RS-3 4K HDMI and VGA 70m Wall Plate Extender over HDBaseT with USB
The RS-3 is the version of an HDBaseT kit that disappears into the wall. The transmitter is a 2-gang US Decora wall plate with an HDMI input and a VGA input with audio, so a legacy laptop and a modern one both have somewhere to plug in at the table edge. Auto-switching means whichever cable is live goes to the screen, with no control system required.
The receiver carries an HDMI output and two USB ports, and the link runs over a single Cat6, Cat6a or Cat7 cable: 4K2K at 60 Hz in 4:4:4 to 40 m, or 1080p60 to 70 m, across the full 18 Gbps of HDMI 2.0b with HDCP 2.2. The VGA input is scaled on board so it arrives correctly on a digital display. Two-way IR, RS-232 and USB run alongside the video for device control, and 24 V power over cable feeds the plate from the receiver end.
