HDBaseT 3.0 is what makes this set carry uncompressed 4K at 60 Hz in 4:4:4 across the full 18 Gbps to 100 m on one Cat6a or Cat7 cable, rather than subsampling to fit. HDR, HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision and HLG all pass through, as do LPCM, Dolby Digital and Plus, Dolby TrueHD, DTS, DTS-HD Master Audio and DSD.

The return path is the interesting part. eARC and ARC from the receiver's HDMI output travel back to the transmitter and land on its HDMI input, its audio-only HDMI output, or its S/PDIF output, so a display at the far end can feed a soundbar or receiver back at the rack. S/PDIF reverse transmission is supported as well. Alongside the video, the link carries bi-directional IR, RS-232, 1 GbE Ethernet and USB 2.0 with configurable host or device roles, and 24 V power over cable works in either direction so the supply can sit at whichever end has an outlet.
