DVDO PSE-1 4K60 HDMI and VGA Switcher / Extender over HDBaseT
The PSE-1 is a presentation switcher split across the room. The transmitter, which fits under a conference table or inside a lectern, carries two HDMI inputs and one VGA input with stereo audio. The receiver at the display carries a fourth input on HDMI, so a source at the screen end plugs in without running back to the lectern. Switching is automatic on signal detection or manual on a button.
A built-in scaler runs to 4K at 60 Hz in 4:4:4 and matches the native resolution of the display, so a mixed set of laptops all land correctly. Over Cat6a or Cat7 the link carries 4K60 4:2:0 to 40 m and 1080p to 70 m; over Cat5e or Cat6 that is 35 m and 60 m. The receiver de-embeds analog stereo for an amplifier, a CEC controller wakes and sleeps the display on signal detection, RS-232 powers a projector on and off, and a relay closes to drop or raise a projection screen from API commands. One-way PoH means only the receiver needs a power supply.
