Crestron ZUMMESH-AVBRIDGE AV Bridge Wireless Control Integration Module
A Zum lighting room and an AV system are usually two separate estates with two separate wall plates. The ZUMMESH-AVBRIDGE joins them: it speaks Zum Mesh on the wireless side and RS-232 or USB on the wired side, so a Zum wireless AV keypad in the room can drive the local AV control system, and an AirMedia receiver can be given basic control from an AirMedia wireless keypad.
The radio is 2-way 2.4 GHz ISM on channels 15, 20, 25, or 26, auto-selected, IEEE 802.15.4 compliant with AES-128 encryption, reaching 50 ft to the nearest mesh peer. A room permits a maximum of 32 Zum Mesh devices, of which no more than 8 may be battery-powered keypads and 8 occupancy or vacancy sensors. Serial runs to 115.2k baud on a 3-pin terminal block, USB 1.1 appears as a virtual COM port with a 3 ft micro-B cable included, and the unit draws 1 W from 12-24 VDC or from USB. Six LEDs cover power, network, transmit, receive, error, and setup.
