Crestron CNXHUB Cresnet Hub
A large Cresnet installation eventually outgrows a single bus, and the CNXHUB is how it gets split. Six 4-pin 3.5 mm detachable terminal blocks, NET A through F, each carry their own isolated segment, so a fault or a heavy load on one branch does not pull the rest of the network down with it. Isolation is also what makes a long building run practical: each segment is a separate electrical domain rather than one very long shared pair.
Six yellow activity LEDs, one per port, show traffic on the corresponding segment, and a green PWR LED confirms the hub is receiving Cresnet power through any NET port. It draws 2 watts (0.084 A at 24VDC) from the bus itself, so there is nothing else to plug in. The metal chassis has a black front panel with a polycarbonate label overlay and can sit freestanding on the included adhesive feet, mount under a table, or occupy 1RU as a half-width rack unit with the appropriate kit.
