Crestron CLX-2DIM8 8-Channel Dimmer Module, 2 Feeds, 120V
The CLX-2DIM8 is the workhorse forward-phase dimmer of the CLX line: eight channels of 120 Volt dimming for incandescent, magnetic low-voltage, neon and cold cathode, and 2-wire dimmable fluorescent loads. The eight channels are grouped as two independent fours, each on its own feed, so a module can straddle two circuits and reach 32 Amps or 3,840 Watts in total. Minimum load is 25 Watts.
CLX modules mount in a Crestron CAEN or CAEN-MLO wall enclosure and bus their low-voltage control between one another on a five-wire link, terminating at a CAEN-BLOCK at the bottom of the cabinet, which is what keeps a large centralized system to one Cresnet drop. High-voltage wiring lands on a separate CLT terminal block, sold separately, so the electrician can terminate the feeders before the module is ever fitted.
