Crestron CENI-GWEXER infiNET EX and ER Wireless Gateway, International

The CENI-GWEXER is the international version of Crestron's infiNET EX and ER gateway, a 2-way RF transceiver that gives a control system its wireless estate without control wiring. Keypads, dimmers, motorised shades, thermostats, door locks and handheld remotes all join through it.

infiNET EX runs a 2.4 GHz mesh in which nearly every device acts as an expander, relaying commands onward so that adding devices increases the range and redundancy of the network rather than loading it. Indoors that gives about 150 ft to the nearest mesh node, 250 ft outdoors. The same gateway simultaneously supports Crestron ER wireless touch screens including the TSR-302, TST-600, TST-602 and TST-902, and infiNET EX expanders CLW-EXPEX and GLA-EXPEX. Dynamic discovery handles commissioning, Wi-Fi friendly channel selection keeps it clear of the building's WLAN, and built-in RF diagnostics report on the network once it is live.
