Crestron CLCI-DIMUEX-W In-Ceiling Universal Dimmer, 230VAC
The CLCI-DIMUEX-W is a single-channel universal dimmer for 230VAC lighting, slim enough to install in the ceiling beside the fixture rather than in the wall box. It dims incandescent, tungsten-halogen, magnetic low voltage, electronic low voltage and dimmable CFL loads up to 300 W/VA, and load detection circuitry decides forward or reverse phase automatically, which removes the usual site guess about which mode a driver wants.
Two sets of load terminals wired in parallel allow more than one fitting on the channel, and the line, neutral and earth terminals are similarly duplicated so units daisy-chain without connectors or extra gang boxes. It installs inline, keeps working from an ordinary momentary or maintained wall switch on the R terminal, and is set up from that switch or the on-board button. Each terminal accepts a single 1 to 2.5 mm2 (18-14 AWG) conductor. Communication is infiNET EX 2-way RF at 2.4 GHz, about 46 m indoors to the gateway; a Crestron wireless gateway is required and sold separately.
