Crestron CEN-SWPOE-52-ULTRA 52-Port Ultra PoE Managed Switch

The CEN-SWPOE-52-ULTRA is the top of the PoE line. Forty-four 2.5 Gigabit auto-sensing ports and four 10 Gigabit multi-gigabit ports all supply PoE++ to IEEE 802.3bt Type 4 at up to 90 W each, and four 25 Gigabit Base-X SFP28 ports carry the uplink, over a 500 Gbps non-blocking fabric. That combination is aimed at buildings where the endpoints have outgrown gigabit but the cable plant has not been replaced.

Power is modular. Two bays take power supply units, sold separately, and with them fitted the switch reaches a 3314 W combined PoE budget, against 351.5 W from the internal supply alone. Modules can also be fitted for redundancy, so a failed supply circuit does not take the floor down. It is 1U at 17.32 by 15.74 in. and 16.18 lb. The TAA compliant variant is the same switch built to Trade Agreements Act sourcing requirements.
