Crestron CEN-SWPOE-5AC 5-Port PoE Network Switch

Not every drop needs a managed switch. The CEN-SWPOE-5AC is a five-port unmanaged gigabit switch that goes where the devices are: all five ports are 100BASE-TX/1000BASE-T, four of them supply PoE and PoE+ to IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at, and every port auto-negotiates with auto MDI/MDIX so a crossover cable is never the problem.

The enclosure is what makes it useful in an install rather than on a desk. It is rugged metal, and mounts freestanding, to a flat surface, to a ceiling wall box, to a DIN 49073 box, onto DIN rail, or onto a single rack rail. It supports lighting control for room-to-room communication, which is the usual reason one appears above a ceiling tile. It measures 4.72 by 7.34 by 1.85 in. and weighs 30 oz.
