Chauvet DJ Intimidator Spot 360X IP

The Intimidator Spot 360X IP takes the 100W X-series spot outside. An IP65 rating means dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction, the housing is magnalium rather than plastic - lighter than aluminium and corrosion resistant - and the power input and output connections are water resistant, so a run of fixtures still links without a weather box. It starts down to -4°F and operates from -22°F to 113°F.

Optically it keeps what makes the 360X good: eight colours plus white with split positions, seven rotating and indexing gobos plus open, and dual bi-directional prisms (5-facet linear and 3-facet round) for layered aerials. The 100W LED produces 4,268 lumens through a 15-degree beam at 23,978 lux measured at 2 meters, with a cool 15,000K colour temperature. Control is 8 or 14 DMX channels over 3-pin XLR plus a built-in RF receiver for the optional RFC or RFC-XL remote. It draws 190W at 120V, links five units per circuit, and weighs 23 lb.
