Blackmagic Cloud Store Ultra

The Blackmagic Cloud Store Ultra 48TB is a very high-performance network storage system in a compact 1RU chassis with server-style front-to-rear cooling. Its 48TB capacity comes from a 12-card RAID 0 flash memory core, giving the bandwidth to keep many editors, colorists, and recorders working the same files at once. By default it runs RAID 0 for maximum capacity, and reformatting to RAID 5 dedicates every sixth card to parity for data protection when redundancy matters more than space.

Connectivity centers on two 100G Ethernet ports, each able to take an independent IP address and subnet for up to 200G of bandwidth and load balancing on a managed switch, so a HyperDeck can record to one port while edit workstations pull from the other. HDMI and SDI monitoring outputs show storage status, USB-C and Blackmagic Cloud Sync distribute files globally, and two redundant power supplies with six cooling fans keep it running quietly through a long session.
