Audinate ADP-USB-AU-2X2 Dante AVIO USB Adapter, 2x2
The AVIO USB adapter is what you reach for when a guest laptop has to join the audio system and nobody is going to install software on it. Plug the USB Type-A end into the computer and the RJ45 into the Dante network, and the machine sees a class-compliant USB audio device while the network sees two Dante inputs and two Dante outputs. It works with any audio application, so the same adapter handles playback into the room or recording off the bus.
Audio is 24-bit at 48 kHz in both directions. The adapter takes Class 1 802.3af PoE from the switch or draws power from the USB port, and it speaks Dante audio over IP as well as AES67 RTP for connections to non-Dante systems. In a conference room or a BYOD huddle space it removes the usual scramble of drivers, dongles, and mismatched sample rates.
