Aviom AN-16/i v.2 Input Module
The AN-16/i v.2 is the analog front door to a Pro16 monitor system. Sixteen balanced line-level sources arrive on 1/4 inch TRS jacks, get converted at 24-bit / 48 kHz, and leave as A-Net data on a single Cat-5e cable, which is what lets a personal mixing rig run to the stage on one cable instead of a multicore snake. Sixteen TRS thru jacks pass the same sources on to the front-of-house console, so the module inserts into an existing signal path rather than taking it over.
It is a 1U steel chassis in black, 9 inches deep, and it is the module Aviom specifies as the front end of the Mix320-A system. Paired with an AN-16/o v.4 output module and the optional SB4 System Bridge it also builds digital snakes and audio networks of up to sixty-four channels.
