Aviom D400 A-Net Distributor
The D400 is the box that sits between the console and the musicians. It takes the channel feed in and fans it out to eight powered RJ45 A-Net outputs, each one carrying both the audio and the 24 VDC that runs a personal mixer, so a player only needs a single Cat-5e cable at their position. A ninth unpowered Pro16e output daisy-chains to another distributor when the band outgrows eight mixers.
Two input versions are stocked. The D400 accepts Pro16e A-Net from an Aviom input module. The D400-Dante instead has primary and secondary Dante RJ45 ports and pulls 32 channels straight off a Dante network at 44.1 or 48 kHz, which removes the need for separate input cards when the console is already on Dante. Both are 2U, 19 x 7.25 x 3.5 inches, 12 lbs, and feed A640, A360, A320, and A-16II mixers.
