Aviom SB4 System Bridge
The SB4 combines up to four synchronous A-Net streams from digital consoles onto a single Cat-5e run, which is how an Aviom system grows past sixteen channels without adding cable to the stage. Used in pairs it carries four Pro16 streams between two points, giving digital snake configurations of 64x0, 48x16, 32x32 or anything smaller. It also pairs with the D800 and D800-Dante distributors in personal mixing systems.
There is no power supply and nothing to configure: four EtherCon RJ45 connectors for the streams, one for the bridge link. The chassis is 1U and only 1.25 inches deep at 1.0 lb, so it mounts on the back rail of a rack that is already full rather than needing its own space.
