Audio-Technica ES931 Gooseneck Microphone
The ES931 is a small-diameter, 6-inch condenser gooseneck microphone built for boardrooms, classrooms, government chambers, teleconferencing, and houses of worship, where a slim, unobtrusive mic matters as much as clean pickup. The "PM" configurations ship with the AT8534 wall/ceiling plate power module, which adds a +10 dB gain switch and an 80 Hz UniSteep low-cut filter and terminates to screw terminals for a permanent install; the mic connects to it over a special TA3F-type connector and needs 11-52V phantom power to run.
Interchangeable capsule elements let one gooseneck body cover several pickup needs: cardioid for general tabletop use, hypercardioid for tighter rejection in a noisier room, or MicroLine for the narrowest pickup angle down a long conference table. Each pattern is available in low-reflectance black or white to match the room, and "mic only" (/MIC) versions are offered in both finishes without the power module for installers who already have a compatible AT power module on hand. UniGuard RFI-shielding technology keeps the mic quiet near phones and other RF sources, and every version ships with a two-stage foam windscreen.
