Audio-Technica ES964 Tabletop Boundary Microphone Array
The ES964 is a compact boundary microphone array built for small-group conference rooms and huddle spaces, where a full ceiling array is overkill but a single desktop mic isn't enough. It combines one omnidirectional capsule with two bidirectional capsules; paired with an Audio-Technica ATDM-0604a or ATDM-1012 digital smartmixer, those capsules form virtual hypercardioid and cardioid pickups that cover the full 360° around the unit so no one at the table gets left out.
At just 88 mm (3.5") across and 22 mm (0.87") tall, it sits low on a conference table without getting in the way. Three touch-sensitive mute controls are reachable from multiple seating positions, and a status ring (programmable across seven LED colors) shows mute state from any angle. It runs on 20-52V phantom power, mounts with a dedicated jig or general-purpose screws, and uses UniGuard RFI shielding to stay quiet near laptops and phones.
