Audio-Technica ES933 Hanging Microphone
The ES933 is a miniature condenser hanging microphone built to suspend over a choir, ensemble, or theater stage. It ships with a 50-foot permanently attached cable terminated in a TA3F connector, low-profile enough to disappear against a ceiling or rigging point, and it is ideal for speech, theater, orchestra, and choir reinforcement or recording.
Three power options cover how a room is wired: the base configuration includes an in-line power module on the cable run, the "PM" configuration substitutes a wall/ceiling plate power module (adding a +10 dB gain switch and 80 Hz UniSteep filter) for a single-gang electrical box install, and "mic only" (/MIC) versions omit the power module for installers supplying their own. Interchangeable elements give one hanging body a cardioid, hypercardioid, or MicroLine pickup pattern in black or white, and every version includes UniGuard RFI shielding and a two-stage foam windscreen to keep the signal clean.
