Audio-Technica ESW-T4106 Boundary Transmitter
The ESW-T4106 is a wireless boundary microphone transmitter for Audio-Technica's Engineered Sound Wireless DECT system, built to sit flat on a conference table and pick up the room without a stand or gooseneck in the way. Its polar pattern is switchable between omnidirectional and cardioid, so the same unit can cover a small huddle table in omni or reject noise from one side of a larger room in cardioid.
A touch-sensitive talk switch can be set to toggle mute on/off, touch-to-talk, or touch-to-mute, and two LED lamps (one ringing the switch, one on the rear of the unit) show mute status in up to seven selectable colors, or can be switched off entirely. The user-replaceable lithium-ion (LI-220) battery runs about 2 hours 40 minutes on a charge and tops back up in an ESW-CHG5 charging station or over USB-C, so it can stay in service while charging if a meeting runs long.
