Audio-Technica ATND933a Dante Hanging Microphone
The ATND933a is a Dante-enabled condenser hanging microphone designed to suspend over a choir, ensemble, or theater stage rather than sit on a table. A 50-foot permanently attached cable runs to the included ATND8734a wall or ceiling-plate power module, which delivers Dante audio and control data plus PoE power over a single Ethernet connection back to the network.
As with the rest of Audio-Technica's ATND line, interchangeable elements let one mic body serve several rooms: cardioid for general choir and ensemble pickup, hypercardioid for tighter rejection under a noisy HVAC system, or MicroLine for a narrower pickup swath across a wide stage. The power module adds an 80 Hz low-cut filter and a three-position gain switch (+30/+40/+50 dB) so the same hardware suits a full choir or a single soloist, and UniGuard RFI shielding plus a two-stage foam windscreen keep the signal clean.
