Audio-Technica ATV-SG1 On-Camera Shotgun Microphone
The ATV-SG1 is a compact on-camera shotgun built for DSLR, mirrorless, and other cameras, using a newly designed 14mm large-diameter diaphragm and a highly directional 100mm acoustic tube to keep pickup focused on the subject while blocking unwanted background noise. An integrated shock mount dissipates handling noise from camera movement, and Audio-Technica's patented noise-immunity technology resists hum and RF interference from nearby phones and other electronics.
A rear gain knob gives stepless, on-the-fly level control, and a low-cut filter switch cuts wind, traffic, and HVAC rumble. The safety track feature records a backup track at -6dB on the second channel so a sudden volume spike doesn't ruin the take, and an external input jack with accessory shoe lets a shooter add a wireless or plug-in-power lavalier for simultaneous recording. A built-in USB-rechargeable battery runs up to 24 hours, and a wind muff ships in the box.
