Audio-Technica ATND8734a Network Microphone Mount

The ATND8734a is a network microphone mount: a round flush-fitting housing that accepts a wired Audio-Technica microphone on a TB3M-Type input and puts it straight onto a Dante audio network over an RJ45 connection. It removes the analogue run and the outboard interface between a ceiling mic and the DSP, which in a retrofit is usually the expensive part of the job.

Audio response is 20-20,000 Hz with a 80 Hz, 18 dB/Octave high-pass available to take out HVAC rumble before it reaches the network. The body measures 148.0 mm diameter 47.0 mm depth and weighs 330g, and four fixing screws are supplied. Power and audio share the network cable, so a single Cat cable finishes the position.
