The PR-WP-412 solves the case where a room needs to see several sources at once rather than switch between them. In windowing mode it composes up to four HDMI inputs into a single layout on one output while a second output remains independently routable, and in matrix mode it behaves as a seamless 4x2 switcher. Video runs at up to 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz in 4:4:4 with HDCP 2.2 compliance, and HDR10 is supported when the unit is in matrix mode.

Audio is handled separately from video routing, so a window layout on screen does not lock you into that source's sound. Embedded HDMI audio can be de-embedded to either of two 3.5mm Phoenix terminal blocks and the unit handles PCM, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Atmos, and DTS streams. The half-rack chassis is 8.4 inches wide and 3.1 lbs, and control is over Ethernet, RS-232, or the USB Type-A program port.
