AKG Perception Wireless 45 Vocal Set HT45 Handheld With A Cardioid
The Perception Wireless 45 Vocal Set is the handheld configuration of AKG's simplest professional UHF system: an HT45 transmitter with a cardioid dynamic capsule and the SR45 space-diversity receiver, and not much else to get wrong. The cardioid pattern is what buys gain before feedback with a wedge in front of the singer, and the spring-steel grille survives a stage.
Operation is eight fixed frequencies with five recommended simultaneous channels, an adjustable squelch, and audio-clip and RF LEDs on the receiver front so an operator can see the state of the link. Receiver outputs are a balanced XLR and an unbalanced 1/4 inch jack adjustable from mic to line level, so it feeds a console or a powered speaker directly. A stand adapter and a universal power supply are in the box.
