AKG WMS420 Presenter Set Wireless Microphone System

The WMS420 Presenter Set is the lavalier version of AKG's entry-level professional UHF system, aimed at lecture rooms, sanctuaries and boardrooms where the talker should not have to think about the microphone. The C417 L omnidirectional clip-on rides on a lapel or tie and hands a natural, even voice to the PT420 bodypack, which carries a gain control and a noiseless on/off/mute switch. A W407 windscreen is included for breath and clothing noise.

The SR420 space-diversity receiver sits in a half-rack metal chassis with two detachable BNC antennas, an adjustable squelch, and an audio-clip and RF LED for at-a-glance monitoring. Pilot tone transmission keeps startup and shutdown silent, and eight preset compatible channels within one band allow several presenters to work at once. Balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4 inch outputs cover both a console feed and a powered speaker.
