AKG CGN99 Condenser Gooseneck Installation Microphone
The CGN99 is a fixed installation gooseneck condenser for lecterns, conference tables and courtroom benches, built as a complete, ready-to-mount microphone rather than a modular body-plus-capsule system. It ships with a windscreen and runs from standard 9 - 52 V phantom power, so it drops into most mixers and conferencing consoles without a separate power module.
It comes in two polar patterns and two lengths. Cardioid rejects off-axis room noise for a single fixed speaking position; hypercardioid narrows that rejection further for noisier rooms or tighter seating. The 580 mm gooseneck reaches a standing speaker or a tall lectern, while the 380 mm stays compact on a tabletop or a shorter stand.
