AKG C104 Large-Diaphragm Cardioid Condenser Microphone
The C104 is AKG's entry point into large-diaphragm condenser recording, built around a 22mm electret capsule with a fixed cardioid pattern. It is aimed at musicians, podcasters, streamers, and video creators who need a clean, detailed vocal or speech capture without stepping up to a multi-pattern studio mic.
A transformerless FET circuit keeps the noise floor low and the dynamic range wide across sources, and the body is machined from recycled metals and alloys. It runs on 48V phantom power over a standard 3-pin XLR output and ships with a screw-on stand mount.
