AKG C1000 S High-Performance Small-Diaphragm Condenser Microphone
The C1000 S is AKG's versatile small-diaphragm condenser, equally at home in the studio, on stage, and in ENG/EFP work. Its gold-sputtered capsule housing and XLR pins resist humidity better than an unplated capsule, and the included PPC1000 polar pattern converter switches the mic between cardioid and hypercardioid without swapping capsules.
A switchable bass-cut filter and -10 dB pad handle loud sources and boomy rooms, and the PB1000 presence boost adapter adds three selectable frequency voicings for speech or instruments. Phantom power runs it normally, but two AA batteries keep it working up to 120 hours when no phantom supply is available. The mic ships with the PPC1000 converter, PB1000 presence adapter, SA63 stand adapter, W1001 windscreen, and a carrying bag.
