Whirlwind MICMUTE Microphone Muting Switch

The Micmute boxes are passive switching solutions for controlling the on and off state of a microphone or a balanced line signal. Passive matters here: there is no power supply to fail and nothing added to the signal path.

There are three switching styles covering the essential mic control functions, and each style comes with two kinds of actuator: a heavy duty footswitch in the PT, PP and PX models, and a finger operated version for desktop use in the PTD, PMD and PPD models. Every box has a female XLR input and a male XLR output.
