Whirlwind MINI-6, MINI-8 and MINI-12 Drop Snakes Low Profile Multipair Drop Snake

The MINI drop snakes are the boxes that live at the front edge of a stage where there is no room for anything taller. They use the same metal Whirlwind XLRs and Snakeskin fanouts as the full size Medusas, in a low profile steel stage box with an integrated handle.

Channel numbers are printed on the box top and again on the side of the base, so spike tape over one set still leaves the other readable, which is a small thing that saves an argument at line check. The cable is Whirlwind by Belden NEC CM rated multipair with two twisted 24 AWG 7x32 conductors per pair, 100 percent foil shield and a 24 AWG drain wire. Fanout length is 2 ft and a Pig Bag is included. The units listed here are the black (NR) box top and fanout colour; nine other resistor colours are catalogued, and MINI snakes are also available with W1 multipin disconnects for use with the Patchmaster system.
