WEM Silver Starfinder 412

The Silver Starfinder 412 is the full 4x12 in WEM's standard Starfinder line, built in birch ply and finished in the silver livery the range is named for. Four 12 inch drivers in a box this size move enough air to fill a room on their own, and birch ply is what keeps the panels from flexing and colouring the sound once a valve head is driving them hard.

All four drivers are F150s, rated at 150 watts each, specified to stay clean at high volume rather than breaking up before the amplifier does. The cabinet is wired at 16 ohms, the impedance most vintage-voiced British heads expect from a single 4x12, so it connects straight to the speaker output without an adapter.
