Violectric DHA V590 Squared Headphone Amplifier and DAC

The DHA V590 Squared is the full-size Violectric converter and headphone amplifier. Four digital inputs cover AES/EBU, optical and coaxial at up to 24 bit / 192 kHz and USB at up to 32 bit / 384 kHz, with DSD 64 through DSD 256. Analog sources arrive on one balanced XLR pair and two unbalanced RCA pairs, all selectable from a front-panel button.

Headphones connect on a 6.3 mm jack, a 4-pin XLR and a 4.4 mm Pentaconn, and the four transistor output stages drive the balanced connectors truly balanced. Line outputs on XLR and RCA are switchable pre or post the volume control, and a front button chooses between headphone, mute and line. PRE-GAIN sets internal gain in 7 steps of 6 dB from -18 to +18 dB. A machined remote control ships in the box.
