Tightrope Cablecast CBL-SXLEHD-UPG15 HD Video Server Upgrade

The CBL-SXLEHD-UPG15 upgrades a Cablecast station to a current-generation SXLE-HD automation and video server, the HD member of the SXLE line. Unlike the composite SXLE, the SXLE-HD carries SD/HD-SDI connectivity with embedded audio and needs no breakout cables, so it drops into a station moving to an HD SDI plant.

It runs the same Cablecast scheduling and automation and the multi-format playback engine, handling MPEG-2, MPEG-4, DV, Windows Media, QuickTime and H.264, with channel branding and Carousel server software for on-air graphics. As an upgrade SKU it is purchased against an existing SXLE-class system.
