Tightrope Cablecast CBL-SXLEHD-UPG10 HD Video Server Upgrade

The Cablecast SXLE HD (CBL-SXLEHD-330) is the compact single-channel HD server in the SX line, built for a station that airs one HD channel. It plays multiformat SD and HD content, from MPEG-2, H.264, DVCAM and DVCPRO up to DVCPRO HD, XDCAM, IMX and ProRes, without transcoding, and it bundles Cablecast Automation, scheduling, channel branding and Carousel Server software. This SKU is the UPG10 upgrade configuration, priced for operators moving up from an earlier Cablecast server.

The server is a 1RU appliance carrying 4TB of content storage plus a 250GB system drive. It works in the digital domain with one SDI/HD-SDI output and one SDI/HD-SDI input and SDI embedded audio, and it runs on Windows 7 Professional with an RS-232 serial control port and included control-module software. It supports 15 Carousel channels of bulletin board.
