Teradek Spark RX Wireless Video Receiver
The Spark 4K receiver is the monitor half of Teradek's small HDMI wireless system. It pulls 4K30 at 10-bit 4:2:2 HDR off a Spark 4K transmitter up to 500 feet away and puts it out over a single HDMI connector with less than a millisecond of delay, so the picture on the director's monitor is the picture in the camera. A single transmitter can feed two of these, which is the usual setup when the client wants their own screen. The 5 GHz link hops frequencies to stay clear of venue Wi-Fi and is AES-128 encrypted; the antennas are internal.
Unlike the transmitter, the receiver carries no internal battery. It is designed to sit on a stand or a monitor arm and draw power from USB-C or a DC barrel connector, with two live inputs so you can hang a backup battery off one while the AC adapter feeds the other. The body is only slightly larger than a cassette tape. In the box: a 1/4-20 light stand adapter, an ultra-thin 18 inch HDMI cable, and an 18W AC adapter with a 6 foot cable. It pairs only with the Spark 4K transmitter.
