Telex ALP-450 UHF Directional Antenna Log-Periodic Directional (forward-Coverage) Antenna
The ALP-450 is a log-periodic directional antenna covering 450 to 900 MHz for UHF wireless microphone, in-ear monitor, and IFB receivers. Its forward-coverage pattern concentrates gain toward the stage or talent, adding up to about 5 dB over a whip while rejecting off-axis noise and interference from behind the antenna, so a diversity receiver gets a stronger, cleaner signal at distance.
The antenna feeds through a 50 ohm TNC connector and ships with a 10-foot low-loss coaxial cable plus mounting hardware for a wall or a mic stand. It measures 9.5 by 11 inches and is painted matte black to disappear into a lighting grid or a set.
