Tangent Wave2 Colour Grading Control Panel

Wave2 puts a whole grading surface in one panel instead of four. Three programmable trackerballs with master dials handle the primaries, nine programmable knobs with push button resets take the parameters, and nine programmable buttons plus nine function buttons cover everything you map. Standard transport controls with a jog dial are built in, and two shift and alt buttons multiply what each control can do. Three ice-white OLED displays label the knobs and buttons so the surface reads correctly whichever application is driving it.

The trackerballs and knobs use optical pickups, which is what keeps the resolution high and the feel consistent after years of use. It is a plug and play USB HID device, so there are no drivers to install and no external power supply. More than 50 applications support it directly, including DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Apple Final Cut Pro X and Flame, and most of them can be remapped in Tangent Mapper.
