Tangent Element Individual Control Panels
Element is modular on purpose. A colourist who lives on primaries needs trackerballs; an editor who wants transport control and a bank of shortcuts does not. Each panel is bought on its own and sits next to the others in whatever order suits the desk. The Tk panel carries three programmable trackerballs, each with a third axis ring and its own reset button. The Kb panel is twelve programmable knobs, each with a push button reset built into the knob. The Bt panel is twelve programmable buttons.
The Mf panel is the one that does the editing work: a programmable trackerball set up for jog and shuttle, standard transport controls, and twelve programmable buttons, with two OLED displays for labels plus timecode and status. Every panel except the Mf carries a single OLED display for soft labelling, and all of them add two shift and alt buttons so each control has more than one job. Connection is a single USB cable that carries both data and power.
